Thank you thank you MiniKat at Little Thoughts from an Average Mind !!! She gave me my first award today. I am so excited that people are enjoying my project. I must give at least some credit to the Addams Family seeing as they are incredibly more interesting than I am ;)
Edit: Also, thank you Mary for helping me better understand the award! I am even more honored knowing what it means :) So as to follow instructions...
7 Random Things I love:
-Smelling something that reminds me of years past (memories of my grandparents mostly - my gma was an amazing cook)
-Interesting shadows
-Sleeping during a rain strom with my Husband and dogs all snuggled up in bed
-Typos! I try not to make them on purpose but some just make me giggle!
-Having a good laugh with my 2 sisters
-Old glamorous photographs of beautiful ladies! Even old highschool senior photos where just so gorgeous!
-Getting home from work and putting on my favorite pair of JEANS!!!
7 Blogs that I would like to pass this award along to (its been to several wonderful blogs so I wanted to pick a few wonderful ones that I haven't seen post it yet... I may have overlapped a bit though.. not sure :)....
--Sumaiya Mehreen is getting it twice! Once for Doll House Minis (I could spend hours on there going through all the things she's posted!) and another one for Exotic Dolls by S.Mehreen (her dolls are gorgeous and I haven't seen anything like them anywhere else yet!)
--Justus for Harmer Manor. I have a feeling I'll visit her site a lot of inspiration on my own project!
--Marie at My Miniature Menagerie for being such and inspiration and great encourager! I linked specifically to one of her projects she did which I really enjoyed seeing - warning - it's a little startling!
--Grazhina at New England Miniatures. Check out her Victorian Interiors link! There is more research in there than I know what to do with!! Just amazing!
--Cate and David at Solet Luna. Check out this link... Cate has just created a whole slew of new dolls and I linked to my favorite one.... sooooo adorable!
--And Tara at Dollhouse at Pooh Corner. She is making an amazing old English Classic Winnie the Pooh Dollhouse and it is very detailed! You're gonna love the addition of Owls house too!
Congrats, on the award, this blog deserves it. Here was the little translated blurb that went with it but somehow got lost along the vine:
ReplyDelete"Proximidade Award! This blog invests and believes in the PROXIMITY-nearness in space, time and relationships. These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement! Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers!” I remember that people listed 7 things that they loved and then passed it onto 7 other bloggers.
Hope this helps!
Dear Ara,

Firstly, congratulations on your award! Definately well deserved and suited - having read the accompanying write-up!
ReplyDeleteSecondly, Ara, thank you so much! You have given David and I our first award! I'm tickled pink and greatly honoured! :D
