Mini Guessing Game Fun!!!

These are my new cups for the Addams Family dining table!!! The look all old and banged up and I love them!!!!

And now for the game part....

First person to leave a comment correctly guessing what these items were, are or originally came from, get an extra point on an upcoming give away. Not sure when the give away is going to be, but don't worry, I will remember :) I really don't know if this is going to be easy or not...

Let the guessing begin!!

  1. They look like shell casings to me? - maybe from a 22? But I've never seen them that colour? That's my guess! :)

  5. They look like shell casings to me - the discarded part after you shoot a gun. I use them for vases sometimes. The cups looks great whatever they are! :0)

  7. Dang.... I thought that was gonna be hard. I guess I am the only person that wouldn't have gotten that before this weekend. Yep - they are bullet casings. Well Cate, you were the first to reply with it correct so in the future you'll get an extra point towards whatever the give away thing happens to be! Happy evening all!

  12. Wow, I would've never cased bullet casings because I've never seen any yet! Come to think of it, I've never seen even a gun up close before.

In case you're interested, I went to Hobby Lobby today to get some simulated leading (thank you for introducing us to this product!) and discovered that dollhouse minis is 50% off!

  13. Mary, I hadn't either before this weekend. And isn't it amazing how you can find the weirdest things to use as minis in the weirdest places - haha!

Thanks for letting me know about Hobby Lobby - I was acutally on my way there this afternoon anyhow!!! how exciting!

  14. Most shooting ranges have buckets full of them in all different sizes.... I am telling you its a treasure trove!! haha. Some shooting ranges let you take shells... some don't apparently. The one we were at didn't have rules against it - so yay!

  15. Oh that's so cool you guys go to a shooting range!

Mostly it's just hunting for wild boars as far as guns go here. They cook em in the pit called an Imu and that's how you get Kalua Pig.

Mmmm, most Luaus do one nightly.

Speeking of shooting ranges, did you ever see the movie "Saved!" ? It's one of my favorites. Emanuel shooting rage "An eye for an eye". LOL it's a Christian shooting range. I have to laugh.

  16. Thank you Ara for following, I appreciate it very much. I shall not say again that they are bullet casings because you have already made this clear, but I promise on my girl scout honour that as soon as I saw them I thought of bullets.See you soon Rosanna

  17. Well, looks like I'm late to the party, but I would have guessed shell casings, as well. We go to the range quite often, and I've been trying to figure out what I can make with all the shells. Guess I'm trying to make things too complicated, as usual, because it never even occurred to me to use them as cups! These look great!
